Maintenance fund
A payment the buyer of a new apartment makes to fund upkeep of the building's shared parts, set as a percentage of the pre-VAT price.
How it works in Vietnam
In Vietnam it is collected separately from the sale price and applies when you buy or lease-purchase an apartment from the developer.
The calculator adds it when you choose to buy from a developer. It is not part of the price the registration fee is charged on.
